This is me and the great Boston-area filmmaker (and Microcinema Scene founder) Jason Santo chillin' like Bob Dylan in front of the theatre when the fest was in Rapid City, South Dakota a few years ago. Mostly I just posted this to remind everybody that the deadline for entries for this year's fest in Palatine, Illinois is tomorrow. You can check out more at the site here (www.microcinemafest.com), which was just updated today. I was surprised to find this shot in a cache of webphotos Jason had and I didn't think he would mind if I snitched it. Usually when I surf the interwebs googling my name I get to find reviews where people think I suck and wish that I would die. This was a welcome surprise."Not 'Hollywood Independent' - writer John Oak Dalton is the real Real Thing." --Cinema Minima."Very weird and unpopular b-movies and comics."--Blogalicious. "After watching the film I am left to wonder if he had some childhood trauma he is not telling us about."--IMDB user review. "Screenwriter John Oak Dalton wanted to be in Hollywood. Instead, he's in the rustic kitchen above the Germania General Store, stirring a pot of boiling hot dogs." --The Harrisburg Patriot-News.

YOU GUYS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING I'LL EVER TOUCH...that's my SUPER TRUTH...INDY GODS in my "MIND"and you know I got it "RITE".
I think this is S. Tyler Wilson, whose work I greatly admire. Thanks!
JOD
Wow, Tyler. That certainly was one of the nicest compliments I've ever received.
John, of course you may use whatever photos you like. I still have the hi-res size of those photos from rapid as well if you'd like me to send them your way.
Gosh, I remember those times in Rapid. THey were very fun. MCF used to be something I was so into. Well, I guess the whole SCENE was something I was TOO into. After a while it became necessary to step back, regroup, and now that this has been accomplished, hopefully return to moviemaking much better than I was before.
We shall see.
